HISTORY

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3

The vision for Christian education was seared into the hearts of Pastor and Marilyn Gool long before the founding of Victory Christian Center School. In August of 1989, the vision came to fruition as Victory Christian Center, Inc. opened its doors to God’s school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Victory Christian Center School (VCCS) has grown from 165 to over 400 students. The school has witnessed paralleled growth in its facilities as it has evolved from one campus to a three-campus institution with over 80 acres of land and a combined total of over 120,000 square feet. VCCS is an extension of the total ministry of Victory Christian Center, a non-denominational institution, which has been impacting the Charlotte area for the cause of Christ since 1980. VCCS is accredited through the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA) and the Southern Association of Colleges and schools on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS/CASI). It is registered with and has been approved by the North Carolina State Department of Non-Public Education. VCCS is a member of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association and The Southern Piedmont Athletic Association.
